  What is HTML?
HTML (hypertext markup language) is a code that is used to create documents on the Web. HTML documents are text files that consist of HTML tags.

Tags are instructions that tell your browser what to show on a Web page. All tags start with a < (left bracket) and end with a > (right bracket). Tags can place the text or images wherever you want to place them on your page and display them in a browser when it is published on the WWW.

What is a URL?
URL stands for "uniform resource locator." It is the standard address that can take you to a page or specific place on a site, anywhere on the WWW.
