Colour Hexadecimal RGB Colour Chart The following chart shows 216 non-dithering browser safe colours. Dithering means that certain colours become "scattered" in some browsers and make your page look scruffy.The six number code on each of these colours is the one you would put in your HTML code for changing the colour of your background or text. eg <BODY BGCOLOR="#0000FF"> These colours are made up of 6 (hex) letters or numbers arranged in 3 pairs and they represent the RGB values (red, green, blue). |

Conversion This chart converts the hex codes from the 216 colour safe colours to decimal numbers:
If your colour from the hex chart is FFCC00 your conversion would be 255, 204, 00. The first 2 letters or numbers are the red value (R), the second 2 letters or numbers are the green value (G), and the third 2 letters or numbers are the blue value (B). |
