To view your web page in a browser such as Microsoft Explorer or Netscape, simply go to the Learning HTML folder and click on the test.html file. This will automatically open your default browser.
If you have followed the instructions carefully in Stage 1, you should then be able to see your first webpage by clicking on the TEST button. To return to this tutorial click on the Refresh button in your browser. If you have not used the TEST button, then you will need to click on the index.html within the Learning HTML folder and you will be back at the main menu.
There are many ways to view your web page creation using a browser, you could drag your web page icon and drop it on to your browser icon and this would automatically start your browser and display your web page. You could open your browser and type in the full path and file name of where your creation is in the Address/Location box. Yet another way would be to open your browser click on File - Open - Browse then search for your creation and double click on it.
However to make things easier for you at this stage if you have read and followed the instructions in the information booklet, or at least followed the instructions in the Readme File. Then all you need do is click on the Test button at each stage of the tutorial to view your creation and click on the Back button to return to the tutorial. If you are having problems getting this to work then re-check that you have followed all of the instructions to the letter.
Now lets move on to create a more useful web page that you can show to your friends. Go to the top of this page and click on the home button to return to the main menu, then select Stage 3, do this now.
